I also got my riddler 8.8 and have started to paint it to match the front. I'm going to try and get it on before this weekends wheeling trip. Also going to fab up some stops to weld to the top of the dynatrac u bolt plates so that they will hit the bottom of the bump stops. Going to use some extra DOM from the ruffstuff kit to do it.

Winning. While this has nothing to do with how my jeep performs, I bought a new condenser for the A/C this weekend.

I'll let you know how nice it is once I get it working. I will be running the bikini top as well.

Got it from 4wd.com. Pretty cheap, I think it was made by walker exhaust. I had to modify it a little to mate up to my cat.

Hard to believe I made my last update back in august 2013. I think the last semester of grad school on top of getting a new job and having to move to the coastal town of savannah (with absolutely no hills or rocks) kept me for doing anything on my jeep. Some close friends of mine built some ok trails to play around on in royston GA to play around on at my parents place, but I haven't had time to do much since. Thanks to Lou and Kevin for helping. And my brother in laws of course.

Now it's march 2014, I have my tag registered, long story, and will be transporting my jeep to savannah this weekend, to my much smaller garage, but atleast I have one!

With that being said, I have been itching for a project to occupy my evenings, and I have made a small purchase in reward to myself for paying off my wife's student loans:

Newly purchased:
ball joints (as mine are torn up)
Oil pan and seal (as my pan is dented badly)
Rear main seal (as mine is leaking)
New rear springs
New rear spring hangers
GR rear bumper
GR tire carrier
GR extended rocker guards
GR extended rear corner guards
And last but not least, 5-35" Goodyear MTR's

Project hear I come!

Sounds like fun man. I was wondering what happened to you. I wish I had thought of it, would have invited you down to Florida last weekend, we had a massive trail ride/mudbog going on...

Yeah I got 5 for $954 plus tax. Roughly $200 a tire. Dad is going to by four of my 33's for $800 and I just have to figure out how to sell my spare. The tires weren't that much out of pocket. At that point.

Rear leaf springs need replacing bad now and I decided I want to go ahead and move them back some.

I think 3" overall is what I can handle with the 8.8 and it's offset pumpkin, but of I ever got another rear axle like a d44 then I could move back another inch with some spring perches.

Overall will end up being 4" stretch with 1" upfront and 3" out back. Nothing to crazy.

That's awesome! I can't believe you got (5) tires of that size for under a grand.

So I finally got the jeep in the new garage and man do I miss a two car. I will post pics of garage soon. It is tight, but I like to organize so it gives me good reason to.

I drained the oil in preparation for the new pan. My dad had driven it on the farm to move it and said it was smoking and dripping oil bad. I thought it was just the pan, but now that I've looked it over well I think my valve cover gasket is leaking too. To be honest I'm gonna have to clean the motor real well, replace the oil pan and seal, and valve cover seal and see if it's leaking elsewhere. I have a good bit of oil on the driver side of the valve cover which appears to be getting into the headers and causing the smoke. The whole driver side of the block under the headers is also shiny.

We will see. Nothing of the big purchase has come in outside some of the maintenance items.

Hell yeah, you aren't that far away from me in Savannah. I've been thinking about taking a bike ride up that way, if you feel like being a tour guide for a weekend.
