Wanted to start my own build thread so my buddies can see everything i am doing versus texting all the time. I've already done a lot but I'll start from the beginning.

Attachment 360913

Here are some pics after I first got it.

My next purchase was a rubicon express lift 4.5" from a guy that never put it on. Brand new but half the price. Already had the slip yoke eliminator, new rear cv driveshaft and everything.

Attachment 361133

This is during and after complete. My buddy Lou who got me into jeeps helped me accomplish the job.

bought some 33" mickey thompson MTZ's and some procomp steel flat black 15x8 wheels with 3.75" backspacing.
Also, you will notice that i got some smittybilt tube fenders in black powdercoat from the front and rear. in hindsight,
i should have paid the extra money for the ones with the corner guards built in to the rears.
I also got the rocker guards as well.

added some rigid industry led driving lights on KC brackets
I routed the wires on the top of cowl and then under the hood.
I plan on re-wiring later on down the road when i replace the windshield seal
but at this point, i didn't want to fool with it yet.
I actually installed these after the roll cage, so it will be a pain when i do.

found a hard top and hard uppers. had to paint the uppers to match the top. close enough. also added a better shot of the driving lights. had already installed my rock hard cage which was a pain in the butt, so i ran the wires a different way. one day i'll run it through the windshield like it should be.
went with the hard top over the soft top, because it is way more quiet and a lot warmer since the heater doesn't exactly put out a lot of BTU's.

notice the home depot vice on the fender...works well for changing out u-joints...will eventually remove and bolt to tailgate after doing flip down conversion.

here are some pictures of the roll cage after it was painted and installed. liked it because i didn't want to pay to have one welded.

not the best welds, i'm kind of new to it. hopefully will hold and keep tubes from spinning. if not, one day i'd like to either do front and rear 9" or D60's
