My 90 YJ (soon to get a 350)

Here she is, my 90 YJ. Me and my Dad are building her up to be an awesome mix of offroad performer and street cruiser.

Here's what she has so far:

- Rancho 2.5" susp. lift with RS5000's
- 3" body lift
- 33x12.5 Hankook Z36's,
- Eagle Alloy rims
- Chrome Grille
- Rancho Steering stabilizer
- rear Cow seat cover

Here's what she's getting in the near future:

- 350 CHEVY , TH350 and NP205
- Xenon headlights
- LED tail lights (1 red tail/brake, 1 yellow turn)
- stainless hood accessories (no hinges)
- a SWEET stereo system (fibreglass subs/amps enclosure)
- new battery and alternator
and lots, lots more.

And here is my 350 partially torn down. Once we buy a gasket set we'll put her all back together and paint her chevy engine blue and do a little polishing.

Tell me what you think. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Looks good,
one question, the Np205 is it a Ford Np205, or a Chevy Np205?

if its Chevy its passenger side drop which you'll need some axles

It's a Chevy. What do you mean by 'its passenger side drop'? I know my dad explained it to me once but I forget

Your jeeps front driveshaft runs along the driver side of the vehicle.... older Chevy Stuff < like the Np205 you have> Runs along the passengerside of the vehicle... therefore your front axle wont work with the set yu have now & you'll have to swap it out for a Passenger side drop

ok thanks I'll tell him that. Now I guess we'll have to find some axels or a ford NP205.

Jeeps lookin good so far. That want to do list looks awful long though!!
Of course there are always things you want to add eventually.
BTW, thought chevy engines were orange, not blue. LOL But I see it will match nice with the body.
That V8 swap will be nice. I had my engine overhauled, but sometimes I wish I had done a V8 instead. (WOW!!! I coulda had a V8!!)
Be interested in how your going to do the stereo system. Remove the back seat? I thought I saw a back seat install of amps, but I don't know how it was done.
A friend is a installer at the local electronics store. He has a 300Z that he has done...WOW. Shoul dget pics and post in the general section. He did a sweet job on that ride.
Anyway good luck with the mods...

When I do my stereo system I'm gonna leave in the back seat. I'm gonna try and go for sound quality(really hard to do in a Jeep) rather than a big boomin stereo. I'm gonna do a real nice fibreglass box and amp display and I think I'll get it painted midnight blue.
