Hard to say, very little out of pocket actually. I've I started selling off a bunch of my other junk, and that's funded about 80-90% of it so far. Plus the majority of the front end stuff I'm recycling from my '00 XJ.

The donor cluster needs to be from a jeep that has the same engine you're running otherwise the tach will read wrong. In your case you'll need to get one from a 92+. Then you need to change the oil sending unit (on the oil filter housing) and the coolant temp sensor (the little one near the back of the valve cover) and then it's just plug and play. The Rustoleum engine enamel claims to be gas and oil resistant, and I like the semi gloss finish. Good luck with the 8.8.

Absolutely fantastic man! Looks like its coming along great! Can't wait to see the continued progress. I have driven a few MJ's in my life, and its definitely one of the most fun / cool Jeeps ever!
