my 88 cherokee build

so i decided that i would make one of these cause it seems like to cool thing to do on hear.

i bought her for $250 and it had 240,000 on the odometer

then i rattle canned it black again, made sway bar dicos, took the doors off and flexed it out:

i put on a 2 in spacer and shackle lift on:

i then took it wheeling and went through a deep puddle:

next day i changed the oil but it was to late the engine pooped out on me

i put a newer engine in and took it wheeling and pushed it to far again, and it stoped running and got it towed home and found this:

so there goes engine 2

on the way home from one of our wheeling trips my wheel fell off and i had to get towed home.

then i replaced my rotor and hub and bearing and studs and such.

what next is on my list is:
rebuild my buddys RC 4.5 leafs and put them on
put GC V8 coils
new shocks
and some other little stuff

Nice Jeep, you got an awesome deal on that.

What happened with the wheel falling off--loose lug nuts/ break the studs?

i'm guessing you blew the motor twice because of water? you should build yourself a snorkel man! thats the first thing i did when i got my '89 beater xj! i paid 150 for it and stuck bout 100 into it to get it running and wasnt gonna spend another penny on it if i didnt have to and the snorkel definitely saved my butt many times! here's a pic of it
and it cost maybe 20 bucks in parts at home depot

Dang that is crazy. I'd go for a snorkle too if I were you. Was one of those pictures at the frog hole at Rausch Creek?
