87 MJ Chief 57k original miles... getting built in the backyard. 37s, waggy axles, D300, 6 speed, etc.

Thanks. I'm actually leaning more toward c right now. I actually like the look of tubes but I just don't want it to mess up the look or anything. I'd more than likely order a kit and make them myself since that's a lot cheaper and technically it'd still be built.

hey guys.. sorry its been so long since ive posted.

to catch yall up..

i bought a truck tool box and took out my rear seats and installed it..



also bought a t176 4 speed and dana 300 for $200 in great condition..















cleaned them up and painted them charcoal grey..





While I had the dana 300 out i ordered some twin sticks and did the shift rail mod to get full shifting capabilities.





Finally installed them last week and its running great.. had to shorted a cherokee driveshaft but it came out great.. Even made my our shifter cover.



















Old t150/dana 20



New t176/dana 300



old dana 20 and t150 is for sale.. still in perfect working condition.. comes with everything to install it..

okay, Now that the transmission swap is done.. i also ordered some 2" round reverse lights and installed them..





Also, bought some racing seats so that i could install 5 point harnesses and installed the seats.. should be welding in the harness bar and installing harnesses soon..

Well most recently i bought a Dana 60 full float rear axle out of a 73 ford f250 and a 8 lug dana 44 front axle out of a 79 chevy k20 pickup. I'm currently working on getting everything ready to install them.. shouldnt be much longer.

the axles have 4.10's in them.. planing on running military 37's with military beadlocks.. hoping to get axles under within the next month or so..
