Well Ole Yeller is back in the shop, here are a few new pic's. Just getting started on her again, I'll keep y'all updated. Decided to keep the V6 and the offset D44 rear and the 18 transfer case. Need to replace the T14 transmission due to damaged case from the PO.
All the running gear is being replaced. New full width D44 front and rear axles, with ether a 304 V8 with 4 spd trans and NP205 transfer case or a 350 chevy with turbo 400 trans an NP205 transfer case.
Well finely got back to work on ole yeller, will post new pic's later. Completed the SOA and currently rebuilding the rear dana 44. I have been looking for a Dana 44 front axle from a waggy here in the Houston area. I found 1 but the guy wanted too much for it. Can anyone help me out?
Front D44 from an 84 dodge w100 narrowed 9 inches with ford bronco spindles, hubs and disc brakes, custom chrome molly axles, lock right locker and 4:88 gears. Still planning on using the 3.8L V6 but just talked to a buddy that has a high pinion ford 9 inch rear and a SB 350, turbo 350 and 205 transfer case. Might have to change direction again, the wife will love that. I have so many extra parts from direction changes, I need to have a parts sale.
