Hey man ... great job on the jeep!!! One of the best builds for sure.

I had a question about the duplicolor spray on liner you use on your door.

How is it holding up? Do you wish you used hurculiner? Or rino line?

It's great. I've used it for about a year and 5 months.

I repainted it because the sliders were chipped, but I recommend it highly, as it's easy to touch up, and doesn't fade. It still looked good after a year of use.

Updates.

Swapped my leaf springs because the right one was sagging.
(The hilift is only stabilizing the jeep, not bearing load! )

The right one is worn much more. God damn it rubicon.

Painted

The saggy one at full droop

The good one at full droop

Washed, clay barred, and waxed.

Bought some DOM tubing for my new tie rod today. Zj rod is for sale soon.

I have the opportunity to buy a built, totalled xj for 1200 bucks.

It has the parts i need, but I have no where to put it, so it's not happening.

The jeep stranded me today.

Came out of a store, about to drive 300 miles back to school. It was totally dead. No click.

We jumped it, but the power kept surging. It would jump to 19 volts, the lights would flicker, and the check gauges light would come on. I ended up turning it off 4 times in order to not fry the ecu.

I ended up swapping a new battery, (75 month warranty napa battery) and I cleaned all the grounds, and it's been good all day.

At least you got it moving again. Can't get enough of how clean your jeep is.

My 2001 Patriot Blue XJ does that to me! Roughly every three years (give or take a month,) it completely dies, then turns out that the battery is completely fried and nothing else is wrong. I'm just going to start carrying a spare battery!

The first time I was stranded, was during a 400 mile trip home from school

[QUOTE=srmitchell;6331278] Bedlined sides

I used duplicolor spray on, found at kragen, or pepboys.

I removed the trim, sanded and sprayed.

I know this at the beginning of your thread haha

But I am doing this very soon and was wondering if you did anything special on the inside of the doors

Your jeep is sick by the way! Keep that **** up Awesome work!

Edit: Where did you get your bumpers/tire holder?

Haha, thanks.

Just sand it down, and mask it well. Make sure you get all the gloss off (right up to the tape) or it will chip.

Then just use the duplicolor bedliner.

WORD OF ADVICE! - If you feel the need to use two cans, ( I did with sliders) make sure you don't use a can per side. Use half of a can on each side, then use the next can half and half on each side. Sometimes different cans come out slightly different. Or did what did- look on the bottom of the can, and find two batch numbers that match.

And yes, rgidco fbg up front, custom 4x4 rear.

Thanks man.

I took my runners off today so I will be doing it soon.

Was your tire holder pricey? custom 4x4?

Thanks
