They aren't bad. Im pretty sick of mud, it gets everywhere.

They perform great on rocks, and in soft dirt.

I've got 1K miles on them, with pretty much no wear.

But it still handles well in the mud?

Yeah, decent at least. While in hollister we got caught in a small rain storm, and I got caught driving through some mud, they clean out well, but they are NOT mud tires. For the shear value and predicted high mileage I will get out of them, Im happy.

Plus, I'd feel bad chunking a 150 dollar "new bfg" a/t, versus chewing up a 73 dollar retread.

Did the t-case drop get rid of any vibes you had? Where did you get the LEDs? For your 4x4 and gear ****, did you also use #74 bulbs?

Yeah, the drop got rid of all the vibes, but theres a slight growling sound on deceleration.

I used the write up from webwheeling.com. Higgs98xj wrote it.

So the next stage of my build begins. I just bought a High pinion Dana 30 out of a 93-95 xj, off of a Naxja member. Scored for $50 bucks. It will be a mild build, mostly for clearance instead of the lp, a decent amount of strength, and better braking as well. I bent the lca's on my lp, so skids are a must. Gearing will not change.

Plans include
-Install A currie steering setup during the swap
-Swap the solid cover
-Swap my hubs, shafts with good ujoints, and any other good parts.
-New ball joints
-Hawk brake pads, powerslot rotors
-New calipers
-Axle tube seals
-Jks lca skids
-Strip to bare metal, and repaint
-Maybe a locker. (I'd like to do the back first. )

Here it is! (Very dirty of course.)

Thanks guys.

Next step for the immediate future is a set of lebaron vents. It overheats when I restart it after letting the engine bake under the hood.
