I like that bumper too with the exception of their tire carrier and the laser cutting they do for the logo. I don't know why they feel the need to slap their logo on the bumper.

I like it too. I wonder if you could get one without the logo?

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Your's by far is my favorite XJ. Probably will be for a long time, everyone else wants to chop the hell out of 'em and all that other stuff.

Keep up the good build.

Thanks man. I've worked hard to keep it somewhat clean.

My mom named it that, cause it sounds like it's going to fall apart!

Interior updates!
I bought an overhead console from a kid in denver. He was an idiot.
1- Told me it was from an 00-01. It wasn't.
2-Part of it was cracked, and there was muddy water damage behind the computer.
3-He decided to tell me he didn't have the bracket or harness, after payed him.
But, it looks fine out side, so no biggie.

I went to the local JY, and lo and behold they had a 98 classic with a OHC. I pulled the harness for $20. Re pinned it to work with my 01. Also got some factory tweeters, and the bracket for free.

Later, I realized it'd be a good idea to buy the console too. It was much cleaner inside, but the headliner fabric was moldy and the outside wasn't great. Got it for $35, so now I have spare parts.

I cleaned up the denver console, and swapped in the JY computer, and put it all together. Looks and works great.

Today, I modded the fog lamps so that they stay on with the high beams.

Thanks. It works great. Im averaging 13 mpg.

I thin between the correct 32 tooth speedo gear, and new 02 sensors (4 of them) It will bring the mpg closer to 17.

Saturday, I did a Lost Coast NAXJA run, USal road.

Lots of fun, easy trail, but we did run into some downed trees that we had to cut and winch out of the way.

The beach was gorgeous, and very clean.

srmitchell your jeep is exactly what I want. balance of road ready and usability. I love how you cut the front fenders for the bumper. looks so sick. good job on the build. looking forward to what you do next!

-wait. nvm you didn't cut them. i guess it's just the bumper!
