So Far...

At first, i didnt wanna do any mods. I was just so happy to own a TJ,
then i got onto the forum, and i couldnt stand my wimpy Jeep anymore.
I went offroad 2 times stock, and had a great time, but my tires didnt,
so i decided, i gotta lift it, and get mud tires!

Right now:

2'' Budget Boost

33'' x 12.5 Pro Comp MT's on Pro Comp Alloys
(chrome sucks, yes. but it was a steal... $500 from member of this board)

Im planning on buying (poor college kid):

New front and rear bumpers

Xenon 6'' Flat flares, or 6'' Bushwackers

1.25 BL

3'' Coil Lift

Set of windshield lights

Hi-Lift jack with hood mount

I like the wheels honestly. I bought my '00 in Sept. for $8500 as well. No hardtop, but I got 31" bfg a/t and the rear dana 44, so I thought it was a pretty good deal. Yours looks pretty clean.

Looks so much better with those tires, and the one exception for chrome on a jeep is rims, nobody told you that yet?
I like where your heading with your jeep, nice job.

I made a hood mount for my highlift very easy roughly ten dollars. If your lookin to save money. Here is a pic.

Nothing fancy the weight of the jack rests on my windshield stops.
The main reason that I went with a design like this is so that I can rest my hood on the top of my windshield. (I have and 87) Always under the damn hood. Which is really dirty in this pic because my offsets kick up alot of crap.
