my 2.5 build up

i dont have any bone stock pictures unfortunatley but im gonna give this a shot anyway....

this is closest to stock pic i have....
no lift. my dad had an extra set of tires off of his 06 tacoma, so i bought rims that fit them. i also got a $100 grill guard and light guards front and rear.

next, i got my skyjacker 2 inch lift with hydro shocks, p265/75/r16 Trxus M/T tires.
i love these tires...

i also threw a sony gtx head unit in there, only because my awsome original tape deck(hahahha) only worked through one speaker...

My old stock soft top started to tear so i bought a bestop replace a top.

since winter was right around the corner, i bought a hard top, which i got a great deal on( thanks mad scientist)
i also found these fiberglass upper slider windows on ebay for around $400
and also a pair of kc daylighters

my next mod will my red LEDs for my dash which should show up in a day or so...
then im lookin to paint some things...

nice build-up. a couple cans of black krylon fusion would do great on the hard top.

Where'd you buy the grill guard? I know nearly the saem one sells through 4wd, but theirs is like $140 plus shipping... any brand name or link to yours?

Your TJ looks great btw with such minimal modifications!

well I added a whole buch of light guards, and personally i love the way they look. I may black out my headlight bezels, but i definatley want to paint my hardtop and upper doors black.

Nice looking TJ

Call me crazy, but I like the way it looked with the hard top before you painted it. Looked a little off since it's a black Jeep but it gives it a different look.
What'd you use to paint the top? I'm going to repaint mine this summer when it comes off

Looks really nice. I have a 00 SE that I've been building up also. I'd recommend hitting the flares with krylon fusion flat black. It will make a world of difference. Thats what I did with mine.

Sweet Jeep man. Those gauges look amazing, can you link me to the leds you put in them? Was it pretty easy to do?
