My 1999 TJ build

I wish I had taken more pictures now. Oh well I will post the pics I have and start adding stuff later since I will have more plans:

Before lift (2" budget lift / 31" tires):

After lift (3.25" RC lift on 33"/12.5" Goodyear MTR):

Painted those flares with Krylon Fusion Satin:

Thanks Neec0! I am just getting started and I have done all of the work myself. Been inspired because there are lots of great gear-heads in here. I have received lots of great feedback and there is so much knowledge in the forums it really helps a lot.

Looking forward to next project.

Huge improvement! Wheels, tires and painted flares really transformed it. I am impressed.

Just installed a spare tire extender for my 33s because I could not open the rear door. The spare was holding onto the bumper. I am noticing a little flex in the door so this may not be a good solution in the long run:

Yikes that was a bad idea. It flexed the door too much I could see the door slightly twisted. Plus I could now hear a noise coming from the rear.

It also extended the tire out from the jeep so there was about 4-5 inches between the tire and the jeep, I didn't think it looked good. So I removed it and am sending it back now.

I ended up cutting about 4 inches off of the pumper and was able to get the 33" on the stock tire bracket. I still am hearing a noise coming from the rear so I think I am going to have to get a bumper with a swing arm.

Lessons learned
