I just read your thread and can only hope that my Jeep comes together as well. Keep us posted.

My flight east for work got cancelled so I started insulating the top a bit, hoping to stay warmer this year since the top seals better.

24 hours until Snofari

Back together now though...

Still figuring out the 4 speed, gear selection is everything in the snow with skinny tires and 3.73 gears. Unfortunately my input bearing is making a ton of noise.

Nice snow climb. You going to overhaul the 4 speed?

I also probably missed this but do you have a heater that works? I don't recall it in the build.

Yeah I am going to have to. There is a heater, but the 225 V6 just won't get warm in the winter, even with the t-stat in it. I also use a propane catalytic tent heater to help out.

The only time it started to warm up was a LONG hill climb where I was bouncing it off redline the whole way up... even then I don't think it was warm, but with a cheap gauge and no overflow tank on this run I yanked the cardboard anyway.

Pic winching out out '47 Tractor. A few minutes before it was 2/3 of the way up the tires.
