Anyway my dad let my grandpa take it for a while and for some unknown reason my grandpa traded it for a stupid dodge D50 pickup.

I also have a 1954 CJ3B (high hood) in my back yard with a 225 V6 but the tub is in BAD shape, and it doesn't run right now but it had PLENTY of power when it did run!

I love the Old Iron! Great job!
The body on that is in better shape then the one I started with Thats why I have been in no hurry to really finish the body work, that and it has been a great trail rig. As much as I want this one painted in Navy paint to match the trailer and throw some numbers on it as a homage to my grandpa, I really need to find a better jeep for that cause.

Where do you get your bearing and suspension parts from? I am renovating my 1946 Bantam civvy trailer and need to repack the bearings, replace the hangers and a couple of other suspension items.
Wheel bearings and stuff I just get from the local auto parts. Especially now that I am just running the CJ NT30 front axle. I have never wheeled it with stock flatty axles under it as I decided to run the ECJ5 frame and axles initially. Though a lot of the ECJ5 stuff crosses to fit a flatty. I can buy springs individually from Jeeperz Creeperz. I need to order 3 more now, I just have not done it.

225 Oddfire V6 It is out of a Jeepster, but it is the Buick engine that Jeep used.

It felt good in the hand too. Unfortunately I would have to make it out of aluminum. It was too heavy and it would fall out of reverse gear. I had to take it off.
