I guess I haven't updated this one in awhile. I haven't done a lot to it as money has been short lately. I did take it wheeling though

I didn't air down, and it was slid ICE about 100' in from a natural spring.

No pics because I forgot my f'in camera that day, and because of my size I was wheeling alone for the most part, I could fit every place easily and run the trails 4x as fast as others because the trails were so narrow. There were enough rigs there to pull me out that day, or help pick it up and out if needed.

Here are some I took the other day though.

my 'carnage'

We also attempted to swap in a D30 NT with disks, but we were told it was a 3.73 axle, tags were missing though. Got it home to find 3.54's Stupid us for not checking. My buddy picked it up for me and neither of us thought to check it.

Hope that helps your fix for now

Happy New Year!

I put on this nifty Accel Chrome 12V coil I had laying around from when the YJ had a points system. Jeep runs even better, I thought it ran good before! Cold starting has improved 10 fold, and it doesn't load up as much it seems. Other then that I haven't done a thing, between work and my college course I don't have the time to work on the body work more...

I am going to take the tub off for the body work, and paint the chassis/motor at the same time, but I want the YJ driving first, I have to be able to drive one at all times (My rule )

I did play in the foot of snow we got finally. Took it out yesterday, ran great and went through like a knife through butter.

Smiles per mile count, because I have been racking up the mileage... almost 200 this year already so far

YJ isn't done, so I can't tear the tub off this yet.

On the other hand, I got 15-16mpg pulling my M416 with this over 70ish miles last weekend I bet I get 18 without the trailer

I am bummed, I went out and bought some Thrush Turbos to put on the CJ2A to make it trail legal (the glass packs were not considered spark arrestors) and Adam and I put them on... I can now hear every rattle, squeak and pop.... I didn't expect it to be quieter considering the exhaust is headers into mufflers into nothing right under my seat....

On the up side, I won't hear that crack tractor exhaust sound for 3 days after I drive it

I wish I could run the open headers, that sounded nice and throaty.

Another upside is it feels torquier...

New Bikini top looks nice as well.

These are probably 1/4 of the glass packs I had R)

Here are the pics, we finished after dark so this is the best I have. The bikini is actually for an early 5, but it was dirt cheap.

Sample of what I took...

And the video.... Really quiet, the camera was only about 10' away.

One of the local clubs was having a trail maintenance up here so I asked Adam if he wanted to go with me, we could try the flatty out towing the M416 on the trails.

Overall the trails didn't need too much, and we hauled out 2 trucks full of mattress springs, and some tires and about a half trailer of mixed bullcrap.

Great time, met a lot of good guys I hadn't met before and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Flatty did AWESOME. Way better then I expected in all the sand pulling a trailer. I often just had it in 3rd, 4-low and let it Idle and lug down the trail as in the beginning it was slow going. I'll be darn if it wouldn't keep chugging down to 3-400 RPM. You could hear each cylinder firing.... R)

OK now the pics....
