My 06 LJ build

This build is gonna be kinda backwards- Bought the JEEP in 2011 but not doing a thread till now!! Had a 1991 with an Atlas and anything you could put on a Jeep that had a useful, actual function --no chrome ever! First Jeep was a 72 Commando- never shoulda sold that one but oh well. And a 97 Tj for a short stint bone stock the whole time. Was cruising craigslist one day and saw an LJ and said I gotta have one. So the search was on, 3 mos later she was in my
hands driving home!

Then Of course I make sure the wife understands that it has to have a lift and new wheels and tires to be useful. We both grew up going to Glamis and Ocotillo I built a couple Longtravel sand cars and alot of other motorized goodies so shes a good sport!! Since I was in Texas for work I went with the cheap stuff to start I new I would replace almost everything but I did what I could with the funds at the time.

Some American Racing AR-23's and a 4in X-flex RC lift with some 33x10.5 KM2's

And the kids approve also!!

Of course after buying the RC kit. The steering wore out and then the joints started to make noise so then here came the Currie products to take there place Currectlynk kit and JJ's all around with a JKS rear track bar. Changed front springs for some 4in superlift alot better ride. I have added an OBA system with 2.5 gal tank and Viair 350c.

Next up is the Antirock that brown santa brought today and I will post pics when I get it on this weekend.

Winch will come after Christmas!

Eventually Coilovers on all four corners and 35's

Some good ole SoCal wheelin now that I'm back home

The Antirock is on about 45 mins to install 10 of it was getting the bar installed thru the teflon bushings. I dont have a BL so I will make sure bump stops go in this weekend and I probably will have to trim the rods down a bit so I don't bang up the fenders near the grill at full flex. What a difference just on the street, can't wait to go out on Sunday and test it out!!

I started on level 4 for about a year, then went to 5. Mine has been there since. Set and forget it.

I found the Antirock with the aluminum arms cheaper than the steel so I had to go with it
