Nice tire carrier you got, where did you get it? Also, what rims are you running?

Tire carrier is made by Detours USA... Here...XJ TailBone Exellent product. Been real happy with it. And Mark is a real good guy to deal with

And my wheels are just your basic Crager Soft 8s.

I like your build!

I also really like your tire carrier. Any reason you removed the rear hitch? Is it compatible with the tailbone?

I didnt remove the rear hitch. It works just fine with the carrier.

Found another pic of the silver XJ on a trail ride around WestBranch Michigan. Decent shot of the front bumper and light bar.

Its been a while since I updated this...
They were from my stock wheels seen here...

Awww.. Look how cute my baby used to be They just attach with 3 screws. Unscrew em and paint em black. I had to drill three tiny holes in my cragers and they fit like a glove. Its been done many times. Im sure theres a write up floating around here, but really theres nothing to it.

No not really. Just make sure you dont mount em too high on the body. If you do they wont quite match up with the one on the door. I found that when you do your cut and fold, only fold in the sides of the wheel wells. just trim a little bit off the top and leave it unfolded and it'll fit like a glove.

Okey, A little update. My Crager steelies have seen one too many PA winters and are rusted to hell and back. I got a really sweet deal some DC1s from a guy near me. Theyre in pretty good shape. They need polished a little, but Im undecided if I wanna go with the bling or paint/powder coat em black. I really like the black and grey look. What should I do???

Here they are on the XJ they came off of...

Im not sure which way I wanna go. I havent found a good price on powder coating Ill probably end up painting em if anything. Any boddy good at photoshop? .... I aint
