Good ??? for you ROD.

How about best way to cut 3/16 aluminium?

Its HoT here. I am going to the garage to cut and grind. Pictures later.
Lol, what are you picking on me for?

Seriously, what banone suggested sounds like as good as option as any I could think of: brass air hose fitting. I'm not sure how well putting the canister in the engine bay will work though, as 96+ the ECU/PCM/whatever tests the EVAP system, and from what I understand can be kind of finicky. James and Jerry were the ones monkeying around with it on the Pumpkinator. XJs don't really worry about it since it's in front of the rear axle, and on the bottom of the Jeep with a skid plate on it.

Just throwin you a bone dude. You usually have pretty good answers. I did not relocate it there the 97 tj has it under the hood. I have had problems with codes for months. I believe its the rusty line.

You should have a test fitting under the hood some where with a green cap on it, a lot of shops should have a machine that will fill the system with smoke, makes it pretty easy to find out where the leak is coming from. If not smoke, nitrogen, then hit the lines with soapy water, but the smoke method is a lot less labor.

So, I got some bad news today. Wife called me........ We got a letter from the HOA. I have to stop work in my garage at home or work with the doors closed. Seems my subdivision has by-laws they want to enforce now. I really don't want to work in 100 degree heat in my garage with the doors down. So I guess Its time to pick up a big window AC unit I have been looking at. Or move my Jeep to work. Fun times.

thats bull**** John - tell them to show it to you, if it is not clearly written in the bylaws than it aint ****....My HOA tried to pull something like that and when I called all the ***** could do was studder

and I agree with you Mountainman - I hate HOAs, I cannot wait to buy a house where I can walk out my back door and shoot a gun (without getting arrested) Luckily mine is pretty lax and quite unorganized

My mom lives in a subdivision WITHOUT an HOA...it's actually quite nice for her living in a nice, safe, well taken care of development with no stupid rules. Best of both worlds.

I'm surprised your wife will let you put AC in the garage - because then you'd probably never leave

The bylaw states that no one shall perform work on a automobile in or around a persons residence, not in the driveway,in attached or detached garage. Unless the doors are closed at all times. Still going to work on the Jeep. It takes 3 offences before they fine me. lol
