Tube fenders yes, corners no. I like the look of my Aluminum corners.
For axles why not just a HP 30 and a used Dana 44 or a Ford 8.8 and spend the rest of the coin on gears, good lockers and chromemoly's all around and then go wheeling You get yours set up the way you want then 35" tires will pretty much let you go anywhere the guys with the bigger tires go and yours will still be nice to drive on the street.

I like the look of the bare aluminum corners and tube fenders that match the color of the tub.

I noticed you run the HPd30 and the d44. I will go this route, but things are hard to come by here in TN. People want way to much for used parts. They think they are gold. By time I buy the used assembly replace the less adequate parts (locker, gears, axles, truss, I will have the same as new already set up new axle assemblys.
also How are your HWY manners, 4.88 with 6 speed. 60 mph Rpm? 70 mph Rpm?

Guess I will run the Aluminum Corners Bare, the Mercenary Sliders powder coated Black, and Paint the Highline tubes Red to match. I will be adding the Aluminum Solid Strykers to the corners later on this summer.

4.88 and 35's are a nice setup even for my little 4 popper.
3000 rpm equates to about 70-72 mph. Works well and crawls nice in 4 lo also.
dana 30 HP's should not be that hard to find after the auto killing Bononza from earlier this year lots of XJ's and Explorers in the junk yards. Bought the front housing for 120 bucks not the best deal, but not terrible either.

You've got an Indy-style Jeep man. Time to come up to the Badlands and wheel with all of us now.

Thanks Bro. I will try to plan something for the Summer.
I do not have a tow rig, but a friend does. So if i can get him to supply the truck and trailer, I will bring the Jeep. I would drive, But back roads may take me a day to get there.

Run flares or pick up some metal tube flares. I agree i think rounded openings look dumb. If the opening was not round I would have pulled my flares right away.

x2.... It isn't so bad if you trim the corner of the opening, but it doesn't look that great. A set of flat flares would probably look pretty good though.

That does look better than the basic round shape. I believe that is to accommodate some stretch.

you can cut those corners anyway you want - I like the rounded opening, maybe make it a little bit larger though, but a square opening looks good too
