If that was your question.
I am actually talking about the opening. Maybe squared off. not so round.

I will be painting the rockers semi gloss black tommarrow. And the 1/4s on later this week with the fenders and the Hood Red to match.

As for looks, If your still running flares, then the panel wont really be seen any way.

If you need additional clearance, just trim the back of the opening.

My simple opinions.

Change things up again when and if you go to tubes. Looks like your not going to, due to no fenders flares up front.

Do you have any plans on ever stretching the rear at all?

I did get my Hood finished up today. It was easier than I expected. Just have to finish the inside and prime the out side. Here is a Teaser pic. More to come tommarrow.

Well John, looks like your idea worked. That is very cool, it's going to look like it came from the factory that way. Can't wait to see it all finished up.

More pictures added of Progress. I have the hood just roughed in right now. I will get time to finsh tomarrow. Maybe get some primer on it. I did get a little paint booth time today to paint the Sliders. I stayed after work to install them.

Here are some more pictures of the hood modification.

Thanks for the compliments.

As for any changes today. I got the outside of the hood primed. I hope to get the Hilines, Hood, and corners painted Monday night.

I finally think I picked the rear corner opening I will have. The blue tape is what will be removed from the factory quarter and the Aluminum corner armor. Next week will be the finished product. I will be painting the corner armor, the hood and the fenders Monday or Tueday night.

You should have taped it the other way around so that you don't mess up the edge and paint.

Get that trimmed
