MrGipe's 02 TJ build...

So I waited to post up a build thread until I actually had something to post that people would enjoy looking at. haha

So here we go.....

Well I started off with hitting up some trails with my local jeep club the Low Country Mud Rats and even though I was highly impressed with what she could do completely stock, it was def. time to start the build.

Everything was already ordered, I was just waiting on all the parts to get here...

First came the OME 2.5" springs, KC HiLites and the windshield brackets
Then the tires showed up a few days later
Wheels, Currie HD steering, Currie Anti-rock, JKS BL and MML lift all showed up about a week after that
The following day the OME shocks got in
The only things I'm waiting for are the new steel braided brake lines and the transfer case relocation bracket.

The first day was the BL and MML...

My buddies Brian and Russell helped me put the two on. The last pic is a shot of my jeep behind Russell's after the BL was on

The next day came the lift and anti-rock. This time it was only Brian and myself. We had to cut the stock shocks out b/c they were giving us a lot of trouble.

Now comes the anti-rock. We had to do some minor modifications to the rods that come with the kit cuz they were way to long. Since I'm still using the factory bumper, we had to notch out a little of the back of the bumper where the bolts from the sway bar would hit.

Future plans are some 4.56 gearing, lockers, stubby front bumper, winch, poison spider rocker guards, flat fenders, full corner rear fenders, rear bumper and tire carrier.

No, the back spacing is 3.75", so I don't need them

Looks good dude, I love the 35's on a 2.5" lift. If it were me, I would be ditching the fugly wheel weights and adding some dynabeads... Or paint them black
Are you rubbing with the trimmed flares at full stuff?
