Thanks for the advice. I need the jeep to get to college everyday so it must not be down. I only have two weeks left so after that the lift goes on. Plus it gives the PB Blaster more time to soak on the rusty bolts.

Update:

While scanning Craigslist I found some 15x8 Ravine wheels off an '06 Wrangler for a pretty good price. I love my Icons but finding tires for 16" wheels is kind of a *****. I'll throw the Ravines on to see how I like them.

I think you'll regret it. I had my sights set on Moabs from the first time I saw them on an XJ. I love my Moabs. I prefer the 16" wheel, even though tire prices are slightly higher. Even still, you can get mad good deals on CL or Kijiji or eBay classifieds. I picked up my Duratracs with only 1000km on them for $425.

The deals are out there, you just need patience.

I decided to look for tires online and it looks like they will be almost the same price for 16" wheels. No sense in spending money on different wheels. I'll be keeping the Icons. Plus at this point in time I really don't have the time to drive an hour and pick up the Ravines or try and sell my Icons, so the Icons will remain.

Also, there are about 12 jeeps in my area with ravines... I can't blend in.

It's okay, the Ravines didn't want you either . Sooo lift? Still sitting in the garage?

Hows your dynomax holding up? I ordered a super turbo today as step one to increase my mpg. It isn't to obnoxious right? I live in a town + neighborhood where people would totally complain left and right. Theres a deal on super 44s at Jegs online right now, but I figured those might be a little too loud for my area.

KINGJB: Where in MA are you located?

The dynomax is holding up great. I've only had it about 2 months though. Looks brand new. As far as sound it was about stock when I first put it on. After the break in period (you might smell something burning after driving for a few weeks) it gets a better tone. I wouldn't say its loud, but has a nice tone to it. If my neighbors don't complain (I seem to live in complainer land) yours won't.

So this week I have finals until Thursday, after that its game on for the Jeep. I will have a whole week off until I begin working two jobs for the summer.

In that time the following upgrades will take place:

-Install the lift

-I realized the dynomax is way too quiet for me. I'm installing a 2.5" Rusty's catback with the flowmaster 50. (The brunette will moan once again)

-B&M 70268 Super Cooler Transmission fluid cooler

-Energy Suspension front poly sway bar bushings (greaseable)

-Bedliner on lower doors, rockers, rear bumper

-Redo undercoating/rust proof underside
