They ride real nice on and off, They are way better then the Fabjunk shocks that came on the LJ. I am considering getting them again when I get some taller springs in. Only problem I have is 4 wheel parts gave me the wrong shocks so they are too short. I didn't notice when I put them on so I'm stuck with them. At least I know never to buy from 4WP again..

Savvy step sliders mounted up today, just have to paint them now. I was going to go for the raw aluminum look but just decided to paint it so I wouldn't have to deal with polishing aluminum all the time. The first one took a while because there was some stuff not very clear in the instructions but the passenger side went on super fast after that.

I found 2 jacks to be much more helpful in getting the preload better and the rocker sitting flatter against the tub.



I don't know what nutsert tool Gerald gives, but this one I have worked pretty good. It has a little ball bearing washer type deal. Only problem is the I went through 6 bolts because of the amount of torque required to crush the nutserts. Local hardware store didn't have any grade 8 bolts that would work.



Once you figure out all the hardware and where you need nutserts and everything the sliders are pretty easy to install. I am glad that I no longer have to fear hitting/landing on my sliders anymore. These things are tough!

Finally got them painted and done. These things are built very well and will take some serious hits. The tires are too small already too .





The coverage underneath is awesome.



Had a bolt missing.



Still have the Novak to install but I won't really need it until i get the TT on, Still goes into 4wd easily. Guess it's time to put the engine skid back on and go have some fun .

Ok so I got my UCF skid and lopro mount in yesterday. I am super confused with this thing. Is that huge bracket for the locker pumps??? I do not see how this is going to work at all, seems to me the skid should just have holes drilled to mount the pumps on it. Sorry for the blurry pics, apparently I suck at phone pictures.

The big bracket is for the locker pump. It's not really configured to work in any particular way. I didn't even use mine just drilled a hole in the skid and bolted the pumps directly to it.

Wow.. how stupid! I wish he would disclose that instead of letting people waste $20 on a stupid bracket that doesn't work .

You could certainly use it I just decided not to. Made it easier to fit the locker pump in the same location.

It looks like if I use the bracket then the pumps will overhang the skid. I will probably just drill the skid and mount the pumps to it.

Yes there is a drool factor to these things!

I got the skid painted, Going to clearcoat the arms to keep them blingy.

Anyone that's installed these things have any super secret leads for less expensive wrenches for the jam nuts? I really don't want to mar up the jam nuts with pipe wrenches.

I did put the Savvy GTS on last weekend..

The junky stock skid:



Mounted on the upper holes for maximum clearance:



Tank out of Jeep. Disconnecting some of the hoses/electrical was a little time consuming.



I thought it looked kinda neat without the gas tank there.



Done. Just had to touch up some of the paint.



Clearance with a BB on saggy 2" springs with skid set on BL position.



I gained roughly 1.25" over the stock skid. That's on the BL position and all. I really like this skid. The design is very nice and I can't wait to beat the snot out of it.
