I just noticed the new "Advanced Jeep Tech" section. It's about time, hopefully it can stay clutter free with lots of useful tech

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

Do you dare me to go start a death wobble thread over there??
Where did you source your bushings for your new crossmember?

Phenomenal idea with the x-member. I'm jealous of how tucked away you made that whole assembly. I've been thinking about building a flat skid instead of a UCF or any of the "high" skids. Figure might as well go flat to the frame rails if at all possible. Looks like you've got a great design going so far, can't wait to see more

I bought the bushing halves from Ruffstuff and then made the sleeves from 1.75" x .120" wall DOM.

Going flat is EASY with the 231.
How's it drive with the new xmember setup Mike? Should be pretty tight.

Yep, if I knew then what I know now I would have skipped the 1" UHC skid and went completely flat the first time around. As it is now, it's not worth the trouble or money to make the switch.

I haven't driven it anywhere yet. I still need to relocate the fan shroud because the fan is making contact and I would need to adjust my pinion angle. The straight pipe under the passenger side floor board might also cause issues
I did start it and it actually seemed to idle smoother (less vibes) than it did with only the Brown Dog MML. With the MML only i think it put the motor mounts and trans mount in a bind. Couple that with the 4 cyl which is known to have more vibration and a poly bushing and I had some slight vibrations at idle. Now with the trans lifted up, the motor mounts may not be bound up anymore, and the whole driveline is supported by poly bushings. It was hard to tell though because the exhaust is ******* loud

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)
Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)
"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Tires didn't arrive at the terminal today. Apparently they had not moved from the location in PA since yesterday. Now it says they are in route to the destination but still says the estimated delivery date is December 19th
Hopefully I can get them tomorrow...
I didn't get any work done on the skid today. Had other things to do but plan to get up early tomorrow morning and get some more work in.
