Snow can certainly make some of the easy trails very hard. I agree though, unless I was local I probably wouldn't want to travel not to be able to run the good stuff. I'll probably wait till spring before I plan to make any long distance wheeling trips.
I'm hoping for a lot of snow this winter and really wanna get the jeep done as quickly as possible so I don't miss any heavy snowfall. Had a blast playing around on back roads in the blizzard we had a few years ago. The jeep was down for way too long last winter/spring while I was doing the cage.

I would understand if it was too intimidating for you.
Weather report would dictate that trip. If it is snowing, we'll just do a snow run closer to home. If it's not snowing, well..........

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)
Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)
"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

I think you'd be surprised. You could probably run most of the trails we do with your current mods. A locker would definitely help a lot though

Yeah, I know, but theres other things I want to do first and Im still debating if I even want to invest any money in my D30 or upgrade to something stronger before adding a locker. Too many options to go with...

Same here Mike. I'd be more than happy to give you hand. Not sure when your starting, but I'm off work tomorrow and the weekend, and then I'm off the week between Christmas Nd New Years.

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

In regards to wheeling in the winter, I find that it sometimes makes things easier as long as the trails aren't covered with hard packed down ice. The ground is hard and sometimes your rig won't get a lick of mud on it. I'm sure this is the main reason Jay is planning that run
I'm watching this closely Mike! Let me know if I can be of any assistance since I recently did my double tri 4-link... I'd like to say I've been learning more then my brain can handle
And it's great seeing the jeeping community come together helping each other out. I would probably still be staring at my pile of parts on the garage floor if it wasn't for 97tjeff lol
