That will be pretty neat...

Right now midarms are the hot thing to do! Wonder what will come about afterward? No arms! Lol

Electromagnetic self-positioning axles

Mid arms just seem like the way to go. Not because they are the hot thing to do right now but because it seems like a nice compromise between the geometry and ride characteristics of long arms and the increased clearance of a short arm setup. I'm planning for a flat belly skid and high clearance brackets on the D44 and eventually on the front axle as well (likely an HP D30) with a 3 link setup. Should be perfect for 35s.

This is basically where I'm at right now. I'v decided that for this rig, 35s is where I want to be. There is just so much you can do even to run 35s that I can satisfy my addiction by tweaking and modifying every little thing until it wheels VERY well with 35" tires and I can continue to try and make it better. At that size it's easy (or should I say easier) to build a very functional rig and one that will be reliable, minimal breakage, and fun to wheel.

Now, will I want something bigger at some point? I know I will! I'v been convincing myself that it's pointless to spend the time, energy and money trying to make my Jeep into a buggy on tons with 40s. In the end, if I went that direction, I'd be kicking myself for not leaving the jeep alone and starting out with an all new chassis to build what I really want. So, when I build something bigger, it will be from the ground up of my own design. That way I'm not pouring money into making something work within the limitations of a current chassis/body and I'll be much happier with the final product. I see it as saving money in the long run really knowing that eventually I would like to have a rig on 40s

Yea I was mostly talking about my goals with my jeep If I had my perfect jeep it would have 60's or rubi jk44's with a cummins 4bt in it. At that point I'd be done. I'd try not to tinker with. Wheel it and fix what ever imperfections it has. But that is a long way away. Can't wait to see what you do with your mid arm!

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

That is exactly what my plans are. A boss TJ on 35's and one day a separate buggy/juggy.

Exactly. A "boss TJ on 35s" pretty much sums it up. You're a little ahead of me as yours is already pretty boss and on 35s

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I'v been hunting for internships for the past few weeks as a requirement to graduate this coming May. Last couple interviews went really well so I think I can relax a little. I still feel like I have no time between work, school, and sleep

I still haven't gotten a chance to wire in the welder here at school so I can start working on a truss and brackets for the D44. I have just been gathering parts for the swap.
