Well I plan on the Crozet trip, but you know how stuff comes up. You can come to my school on the way friday and leave that saturday and wheel for the day possibly a camping trip. I would just want you to be able to split up the drive. Its not to far from here at all. I think some locals plan on going Sat morning.. So i think i may just go is my fraternity and school life permits!

Looks good Mike. Now come finish my buggy for me, I'm too lazy.

Tomorrow I'm planning to try and fab up the C-pillar tie-ins. Then I need to get the cage back out and start prepping everything for primer and paint. Still need to go purchase paint and supplies for that.

I understand. I still have to see what's going on that weekend to see if I can go and it also depends on if I get this dang Jeep finished...

Thanks man I may be there. No definite plans yet but I would like to go. If I can get it together by the end of this week and I don't have anything too hectic going on at school I'm going to try. I don't know if I'm gonna be there both days or just saturday if I do go either.

C-pillar tie-in

Cage is finally pretty much finished

I pulled the cage back out of the Jeep for hopefully the last time. Started cleaning up the tub and priming where I'v drilled and cut. Looks kind of cool all stripped down.

I bought paint tonight. Unfortunately it looks like it's suppose to be T-storms tomorrow. I can hopefully get the cage and armor painted tomorrow in the garage while the jeep sits covered up outside. Hopefully it clears off and warms up enough to get the tub raptor lined by thursday. Then start putting stuff back together this weekend.

Me neither. My least favorite part of this whole project was painting it. It was harder spraying every piece of tube in all different positions than it was welding it lol

5 cans of primer and 8 cans of paint just barely got the job done. May need to pick up another can for touch ups as I know it's gonna get scratched going back in the Jeep and I'll probably find out tomorrow that I missed a few spots

Primed

Painted

Corners and tailgate skin got painted today too.
