In other news, the water pump is leaking on my truck. Looks like i'll be replacing the water pump in that when I have some time. From what I'v read it's going to be a PITA. Isuzu decided that it would be a good idea to put 1 of the water pump bolts behind the balancer on the Duramax engine Anybody have a 3/4" drive torque wrench that is capable of 300 ft/lbs I can burrow?

I know if i end up buying the tools I'll still end up saving over having a shop replace it since the new pump is only 100 bucks and I'v read where a few people payed about $900 for the dealer to do it. Would just be nice if I could burrow or rent the tools from somewhere since I can't see me using a 3/4" drive torque wrench very often lol

Haha I wish it had. I don't drive the jeep 600 miles a week.

Well guys, I'v been doing tons of research and ........ I still don't know what I wanna build this winter

My ideal plan would be to build a set of JK axles but finding them for any kind of good price seems to be difficult. Been thinking about waggy axles but I want high pinion in the front and I believe the waggy 44 front is only low pinion. Does anyone know?

Someone needs to keep me off PBB because all I do is think about building 1 tons and throwing all the little steps out the window

I think they are low pinion. Find an early ford HP44 instead. I think the JK axles are too much $ and I heard they need a fair amount of beefing up to keep the tubes from bending too. If they were less $, I think they'd be worth it. Too much time on PBB leads to building a jeep on tons, then selling it for a full on tube buggy. For me, this spring I will be looking at TJ rear 44 and a HP30 out of an XJ for the front.

BTW, I never got around to my rear bumper. I ran into a few snags and am not sure what i want to do now.

A rear 60 off the same 3/4 ton truck the front 44 came off.
