I don't think I want the hassle of them. Hope it heals quick. I think the eye is the fastest healing part of the body.
Yeah, pretty much just have to bare through it. Like you said, fortunately the eye is one of the fastest healing parts of the body. The doc said it would probably be like 2-3 days so I'm hoping even by tonight I'll start to feel better. Hopefully that's the case, they only gave me 4 percocet and I already used 2 just to get through last night

idk if you've kept your contacts on or are just wearing glasses. but when ever you get a scratch on your eye it helps to put a contact on it, it kinda acts like a bandaid, and helps keep the pain down.

both my parents are optometrists so i know wayyy too much about eyes lol.

Scratched my eye several times, worst feeling ever having your eyes not be 100%.

Guy told me one time about a fella who kept closing his eyes to tack-weld one day instead of using a hood or atleast turning away, that night when he went to take his contacts out, his cornea's came off with them...

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

I think I got mine from US Plastics. Not sure if the link will work cause JF seems to be having issues with links lately.

http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/sea...ch=Uhmw&page=1

I was looking for the link that someone gave me, but haven't found it yet.

I removed the contact and haven't put one back in. I had to wear the one that caused the scratch for about 24 hours just to be able to drive home Sunday because I didn't have another with me. Spare contact and solution our on the list for my trail kit next time. Then maybe I can get it rinsed out before damage is done.

dang you need to just get you some dailies then! they are so much better for when you're wheelin, working on the jeep, or really anything if you are active. Feels so good to put a new pair in every morning

and holy **** steve that is crazy.

Yea would probably help. I am all over the place so much all the time I would probably forget to bring dailies with me haha. I also have the bad habit of sleeping in the ones I have which I did this weekend because I didn't remember to bring a case or solution along with me, probably had dirt scratching on my eye all night while I was sleeping

Here is a video of our third course Saturday. Only class 3 rig to complete a course this weekend (because we were running with class 4 on class 4 courses which are too narrow and too tight for a race/comp setup like Mike's) and did so relatively cleanly reassuring our lead. During the shootout the first rig shifted a large boulder at the first gate shifting it straight up vertical which hung him up for the entire 10 min and made it almost impossible to get past for the other rigs and us. We were the only rig to make it to the second gate in the shootout by intentionally taking a cone on the first and then we got high centered and ran out of time, had to be craned off the rock lol. Took first in class 3 so not too bad

A little footage from my jeep. Trails were wet this weekend. This was Saturday after the competition was over and Sunday it was like the whole mountain was in a cloud, pretty misty and everything was wet so traction was minimal.

Sunday morning.

Towing the broken XJ off the trails. He ripped the track bar mount off the axle and couldn't steer. Fortunately we were at the southern tip of the property, about as far as possible from the parking lot as you can be
