Yep, pg 102. Glad you found it because I wasn't sure where to begin searching
Reminds me, I need to go back and update my "Table of Contents" so there are links to some of my recent mods on page 1.

Are you still using the Hobart 187? Hows it for all the welding you've done? I'm looking at getting a welder this summer and teaching myself.

Mike,
Quick question for you about your cage, why did you run the windshield spreaders upside down? Not saying you are doing it wrong just wondering if there was any rhyme or reason LOL. Still coming along nicely BTW

Are you referring to the V shaped bracing in the center of the windshield?
It seems (to me) like it would be less obstructive the way Mike has it compared to it being flipped the other way.

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

The 187 has been an excellent welder. It has enough juice to handle pretty much any thickness we use on our jeeps and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone looking to get started in welding. Its got the most bang for the buck of any welder out there. BTW I think it's been replaced by the new model HH190. Pretty much the same machine.

The rearview mirror fits in between. That's all.
when I pull the cage in the future to change the seats I'm planning to move the upper windshield bar up since I originally moved it down to clear the softop latches and now I don't have a soft top. It obstructs my view slightly the way it is. When I cut that out I'm going to reverse the windshield spreaders at the same time and just remove or mount the rearview mirror differently. I don't like the way I have it.

Thanks a lot man.
I've been so busy with school I haven't kept up with any builds on JF this semester. I'm about to go back and read the last 50 pages of yours...looks like I have a lot of catching up to do, but from seeing the most recent pics it looks like you got a lot done to the rig and I like it.

No problem!
I can't wait to see them on your rig. We have to start looking at when we are going to wheel together again. Both jeeps have slightly evolved....

Thanks man, it definitely has come a long way in the past several months. Still have a ways to go (as always)

Only slightly I'm definitely still thinking about a wheeling trip down there this year. I've got a lot going on in the next couple months but I WILL make a trip with you this year somewhere. Maybe Harlan if John gets something planned.

Did some late night wrenching. Drilled, tapped, countersunk 20 some holes and I never want to do it again. Skid plate turned out SLICK though, literally!
