I would assume it drives awesome. The farthest it's been on pavement is around the block though
It drives like a caddy offroad (at least the rear does, the front suspension is still a little more harsh). Body roll is very minimal and it just feels stable.

Well I'll be anxiously awaiting to hear how it does on a longer trip if you do drive it anywhere
I guess you're no longer street legal in MD without flares, so it's a trailer queen now?

Pretty much. Closest wheeling is 3 hours of highway and i'd rather pull with the Duramax than listen to 4 angry squirrles struggle it has been a fun little jeep for driving around town locally but like you said, without the flares here in MD I think it may have to retire to trail duty only. I'm not even sure if I'm going be able to renew registration this november with emissions testing here in MD. A fuel cell is not legal.

I agree, it is so much better trailering the thing.

And that is just ridiculous really. Wouldnt you think that a fuel cell would be safer than a stock gas tank? I would, but what the hell do I know.

Depends, I'd feel safer if I had a bladder type cell with a firewall of some sort between myself and the tank. Will get one eventually. In an on-road accident/collision I'd probably rather have the gas tank outside of the vehicle which is probably why MD feels fuel cells inside the cab are a bad idea. If someone were to rearend you and crumple up the fuel tank, instead of leaking out under the vehicle it's going to leak all over you, that could be pretty bad.

Ok, makes sense. I stand corrected. Maryland really does love us.

Personally, love = pro choice. We can conceal carry, run fenderless with a fuel cell, and have open containers in the street while talking to strippers on the corners. No biggie.

Is one of the reasons I used the stock plastic tank, is not as prone to rupturing as an aluminum tank. In truth the bladder type fuel cell is a very good idea safety wise

+1 for relaxed Indiana laws
I can't imagine what it would be like to live somewhere like CA where it's actually illegal to replace your engine with one from an older model year

Nirvana and paradise are a beatch to find lol. Y'all have the freedom to mod Jeeps while we still have plenty of freedom to wheel in open OHV areas, instead of pay to play areas. Life is just never perfect, but there are days in good ole So Cali it's pretty darn close
