metalcloak fenders ordered earlier this afternoon, i will get them sprayed as soon as color comes out in monsta. if all the stars line up and i actually do get the jeep this weekend i will try my best to get some close up pics of the sprayed liner. it is all on the underside and frame so the pics may still come out crappy. i really hope to be getting a video of a startup of the 5.2 magnum up in here by monday.

i forced the wife to record me fondling the other woman in my life. lol she was less than impressed holding the camera in the drizzling rain while i started it. i told her "honey the forum guys will be mad if i don't get this video posted soon". she's such a tolerant wife.

they are actually auroura RT-02 31x10.5x15's. they look like a bfg knock off. they still have 3/4 tread and god knows how many nicks, gouges, rubs, and grooves. i would suggest them to anyone looking for a cheap 31" tire. i have better than 20-25k on them and they are still in great shape no cups, or flat spots anywhere plus they run decent in muck and snow. i am hoping to go 35x10.5x15 boggers in the future. 5 tires equaling $1500 may change my mind when the time comes but tires are too far in the future to be worrying about now. next step will be getting it in my basement, finishing the chassis saver/monstaliner treatment to the metalcloaks when they arrive and the front 2' of the frame (i left it un-done to facilitate any un-forseen modifications after fenders are on).

i'm glad you suggested them, they fit awesome around the trans, frame, and new flat skid. the only thing i had to alter was a decrease in the desired rearward motor tilt with a few washers to lift the trans a little. i think i may just get started on the brake lines instead of waiting for good enough weather to apply the monstaliner to everything. i'm just going to run regular ol' steel lines under there, a 25' coil of 3/16" brake line with no ends can't be more than $20. my largest brake system expenditure will be the 3 lengthened soft hoses and any fittings i may need.
