pinion angle, traction bar, and a leaky rear axle seal.

the offset from front to rear is about 2" per side wider in the front. i am going to put 1/2" spacers in the rear to bring it out just a teense.

and now a few shots of trying to get the whole jeep in perspective as to how it barely fits in my garage.

if i don't prop the door past all the way open i scrape the handle of the garage door on the hard top when moving it in or out.

it definitely will not fit after the new front springs and the 38.5x11.50's get put on.

Looking good Mike. I can't wait to get mine done so we can get out and see what these things can do. Mine always went in my garage the same way. I am hoping I can get it out when I am done.

the brakes are still a bit spongy. i think i need to upgrade to the matching brake booster. i guess i need to go scour ratmonkeys build to see what year he used on his ZJ. it would be alot easier if he was still around so i could just text him.

well ...
after a few shake down runs and playing in the snow... see attached pics.

not stuck per se, you really can't tell from this angle, but, if i were to move the rear would have slid and flopped down over a 4' drop

it took a 1 ton gmc with lsd's and 2 tire chains to get to where the jeep was, then we had to put the other 2 on to get me out of the predicament.

new booties and a welded rear are probably in her near future.
i have some tinkering to do after all this damn sub zero weather goes away.

How do you like the arched fenders? I really like the way they look, and the idea behind them. Think they're worth it?

for someone who is doing what i did i say they are perfectly worth it. if your upgrading a set of fenders that are still usable the price may be a bit scary. however, when you factor in the stout construction of the cloaks and the clearance gained they are plenty worth it imo. when people ask why i would spend so much on fenders i tell them to go price brand new factory replacements, the price is comparable, the quality and function is not.
