A mild Mr. Greenjeans'

Here is my not so expensive 2004 TJ Unlimited build. Before I took it home I had the 30x9.5 r15 Pro Comp ATs removed from my 84 Grand Wagoneer and installed on the Unlimited. It had perfectly good Michelin highway tires on it and there was no way I was driving with bologna skins for tires. With that mod done and me being knee deep in a recession and a full blown divorce. That was the only real mod I did for many months besides a new big girl car seat and removing the carpet because it got pretty funky with the top off most of last summer.

Evidently I have miss understood the picture uploading process. Ill have to revisit that thread again and see where I am having my problems.

The next two mods were a factory antenna to replace the racer style rubber thing in the antenna's spot. Then I removed the satellite and aftermarket radio and installed a radio/dvd player I had from an 07 Unlimited I sold due to said divorce and recession. Dvd player is now broke and screen does not slide out because as it was coming out and I was palm turning the wheel my hand whacked it pretty good and I had force it back in. I now listen to the am talk radio because I cannot change it to fm or am, I am able to shove a cd in every now and then.

My first was a '94 from up north and every time I turned a wrench on that one I needed safety glasses, sawsall, and a pile of new bolts. It was the best da@# jeep I ever had with its little 4cyl. I'd probably still have it if I didn't need a daily driver.

I'm going to list my to date mods and when I have time to do the pictures I'll comment on the build pictures as I post them.

1. Four tire swap funded by me the dealer said "whatever you want to pay for".
2. Changed out an after market antenna for a stock one.
3. Replaced the aftermarket radio with an aftermarket radio.
4. Removed the factory sub (blown).
5. Removed the factory door nuts.
6. New tires Falkin Wildpeak AT's 32x11.5 r15
7. Scored another factory Ravine with purchase of new tires (freebieeee).
8. BB bought from Jeepforum.com classifieds.
9. Found a great spare for $30 on craigslist.
10. Replaced spare tire bolts with longer ones to accommodate the larger spare.
11. Relocated factory fog light switch to switch panel (mine never worked for me). Thanks Jf for the write ups.
12. Replaced broken factory fog lights with hella's from red jeep.

And that is an uptodate on Mr. Greenjeans.

Yes I know it had plastic protection. Those we a gift from my now EX-Wife
. But there was not a shopping cart that could hurt them though. No one ever dented the corners while leaning on them either. So that means they worked great.

7. Scored another factory Ravine with purchase of new tires (freebieeee).

Wheeling in 18" of snow with a set of need to replace now Procomp At's a little speed and a hidden rock. Very loud noise I expected the front end was ripped out from under it when I got out and to my surprise it only ruined my Ravine. I found a place that straightens wheels, but mine was cracked and was going to cost around $150 to repair and would not look very good. So I pleased when I found the free replacement.
