The 2" BDS lift has done well and I have no complaints... Buuut, it was a budget problem solver to replace my worn out factory suspension. My end goal for now is to get it up on 33's, tummy tuck, and get these underneath it:

Ford 8.8 rear end 4.10 gears, disc brakes, with factory limited slip (for now) & HP 30 4.10 gears, big joints, and I think maybe chromo shafts havent investigated yet.

The plan for both is to upgrade with the Superior kits and ARB lockers front and rear. On the 30 the passenger side mount as you can see is twisted and Ill be going with a UCF truss and Currie bushings. On the 8.8 I have a Artec Truss kit just waiting to get the rest of the puzzle together before I can weld it together...

The rest of the puzzle I have been aquiring for the past 7 months..
  • Rokmen Adjustable control arm kit
  • Currie front & rear adjustable trac bars
  • Brown Dog 1" MML
  • JKS 1.25" body lift
  • 3" AEV springs
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks
  • Russell steel braided extended lines
  • Ultra High Clearence UCF aluminum skid
  • Teraflex SYE kit
  • Tom Woods driveshaft
  • Rear Currie Anti-Rock

got a GREAT deal on a bestop halftop and full soft doors! Still have the full hard doors, I wanted the option.

local club has a beach run tomorrow, and then as long as UPS delivers the rear trac bar the new lift goes on Monday, I'm pumped.

Thanks man! Im hoping now that my co-pilot has a rig too I'll get more pictures on future trips, and maybe a GoPro for Christmas if Santa thinks I've been a good boy this year LOL!

We got the Brown Dog MML installed nothing special and straight forward.

The Novak on the other hand was a bit of a @$%&, took 3-4 tries to get it right. I got a little flustered and my ex co-pilot had to take give it a shot:

Aaand the JKS 1.25 body lift on

and a few postcard shots on the Carolina Beach:

Today the Jeep is at Wilson Off Road getting the rest of the TT put on and the new lift components pics to follow once I get her back, and time to start on the axle swaps!

And the lift is on!

Makes the 31's look very small, and the pinion agle is not 100% correct. I cant get it dialed in right because the shocks hit the spring perches. Will be moving on to the 8.8 with Artec truss to get is corrected.

Radiator started leaking at the seals and needed to be replaced so I decided on a Drake Off Road core, Canton Racing bottle, and SBC silicone hoses.

Got everything back from powder coating and my SWAG tailgate installed:

And the Christmas / Birthday project... Genright aluminum 4" front, rear, and inner fenders!

Decided I would give it a go and paint them myself. Growing up in NY I'm no stranger to the mighty rattle can, and thats just what I did. Rattle can primer, paint, and clear. Edged it with some truck bed liner.

After getting the rear mounted and finished, realize I want to go to full corners.. Flush out the fuel fill, and hide the holes in the body as well as trim away excess sheet metal.

Funny my girlfriend and bestfriend were more anxious and worried about me cutting into the grill than I was LOL!

My happy birthday arrived Tuesday.. 33x12.50x15 Goodyear Wrangler MTR w/ Kevlar!

Mounted balanced w/ the trade marked poser shots! rocking the 33's on 3.07's sucks, and start work on the 8.8 & HP30 with Artec truss kits tomorrow.

8.8 work

Got started on the 8.8 / Artec truss kit this weekend. Great kit, easy to understand, goes together like everyone says. The only snag we've run into was the trac bar mount on the truss is set for 1.6 and a "factory" bar, I run a Currie adjustable with JJ's that comes in at 2.1. There isn't enough material to make the adjustment.

Tacked everything together and ready to be test fit. Going to either heat, bend, and pull the mount or canibalize the Currie mount to make it work. At that point I'll be all in on the swap and we ran out of time, got low on beer, and hungry.

Everything happens for a reason, ordered the Artec truss bridge that has been released since I had bought the kit. It will be here Thursday
