Thanks man, no gears yet but I have been doing some work. I picked up a 231 and a sye while I was up at RCrocs. Installed the sye a couple days ago and got the case in the jeep. I am driving around with my front driveshaft in the rear right now until I can get a different yoke for my rear RE driveshaft. Ill get some pics up soon. I also plan on drilling out my rear pinion yoke to accept the u-bolt style yoke straps.
Here are some pictures of the RCrocs up at Rausch Creek: Timmay from Pirate4x4 in his '00 XJ This guy blew a fuse, lost a front shock and coil and stalled right here Kane Riccardi from our local club, Baltimore4wheelers, took first place in class 1 This is Grason from another local club, MDCreepers, took first in class 3 The Quadratec guys flopped on the bonus line on their last run of the day Crappy video here: http://rides.webshots.com/video/3005075920100669327BJGxMS

Yea, RCrocs was an awesome event, cant wait for the finals. It also looks like a buddy and I are picking up a '98 5.9l zj with a RK longarm kit to compete next year in class 2 possibly. I will start a build for that as soon as we get it underway.
Edit: I was just working on the RE driveshaft and broke some parts for the cv joint (my cost for 4wd keeps climbing) so now I need to order even more parts before I can hit the trails again. This is driving me crazy, instead of finding another 242 and swapping that I had to go with the route that is going to end up being 4x more expensive, I guess I learned the hard way.

Spun out on set of turns tonight after work. It was raining, and I lost the back end coming around a turn, spun a 180 into oncoming traffic and ended up on the opposite side of the road with cars coming at me. Could have been real bad, luckily it happened in a short period of time in between cars in the other lane. A cop was the second car in the other lane when it happened and he didnt even stop! Pretty scary, almost seriously injured myself, another driver or the jeep.

Thanks guys, it was definitely scary, done it before in the snow but on a main road, at night with traffic is a little different. Seeing those headlights coming at me as Im sliding sideways in the opposite lane is pretty scary.
Im working on rewiring my amp under the back seat and rewiring the subwoofer for a cleaner install, pics up later today. Edit for pics: Amp under seat, much cleaner wiring, used heat shrink on all crimps and now the amp is hidden. Rest of the stereo, dont know if I ever put pics up. Polk components Alpine headunit No more amp and wires mounted to the back of the seat. I have a JL8W7 New used case and sye installed by me, currently running a front driveshaft until I rebuild my RE shaft.
