Could you please elaborate on the Duplicolor? I used it for my cage and am pleased with the texture. Anything I need to look out for?
You have a very nice XJ. I enjoy the big, yet not over done build you have going on

Thanks 87,
when I said the duplicolor was not recommended I mean on top of the herculiner. It didnt adhere very well on top of the herculiner and is coming apart and rusting again. I will eventually strip all of it and get it done professionally.

Went wheeling yesterday with a few guys from Baltimore4Wheelers. Had a blast/and the tires were amazing, did a few obstacles that I could not have done w/o 35's. The KM2's performed flawlessly even w/o airing down. No pics though, forgot the memory card in the laptop haha. I have a video on my phone I will try to post.

Went to Rausch Creek on the 28th with 4 of us and 3 other guys from some local clubs. Had a blast, couple people had some damage. Rubicon bent up his stock draglink and bent up his brand new AEV highline fender. I ripped a Bushwacker off but before you go calling them bushCRACKERS it was entirely my fault, didnt see a stump and dropped the back end and flare right on it. It ended up being pretty nice out, had some snow on the ground. It was a great trip with some great guys. Ill have some pics to put up shortly.

aaaand theres more....
Tonight I decided to swap the left and right leaf springs b/c the passenger side has sagged due to the torque of the engine. Pulled the shackles and they felt pretty sloppy side to side. Got em out and the bolt sleeves just fell out of the bushings. Turns out the bushings on both sides have mushed out and gotten pretty loose. Also cut down my u bolts Before: After: Got everything undone until I got to the front leaf spring bolts. They are frozen solid, broke my socket wrench trying to get em out These bolts: Anyone know anyway to get some PB blaster up onto the threads? So tomorrow I will be getting new bushings, a new socket wrench, swapping the springs, fixing the exhaust we ripped out of my brothers Unlimited today on our trail and bumpstopping a buddies Tj. More pics to come tomorrow

Your XJ is awesome man. Thats the same direction I was heading with mine before it got crushed by a tree. I had the 3 link too. That kit flexed like crazy.

Just got back from Rausch Creek with the Baltimore 4 Wheelers. Broke my t case again and bent my JCR tie rod. Had a fun day though. Gonna rip into the t case tomrrow and the tie rod isnt that bad. I was really surprised that I bent it though, that thing is beefy. Pics to come!
