Its way better than short arms for sure, I love it. I was debating the adjustables with drop brackets or the 3 link and I def made the right choice The flex is awesome, no binding at all and the droop is awesome. The on road driving is a little louder due to the krawler joints but nothing you wont get used to. I dont have any install pics but I will get some pics to you when I get back to school where my jeep is. Install was very easy and pretty straightforward just follow the directions and you will be fine. I ordered it from DC4WD but he went out of business though.
Here is a thread I started on Naxja before I started: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=937396&highlight=link+drop+brackets Any other questions just let me know!

I'd love to get long arms like you have but right now money is tight so I'm probably just going to go with RC drop brackets and use my stock control arms. I'm not too worried because my last xj had RE drop brackets with stock control arms and it managed to do the jeep jamboree and make it to moab a few times. Have you gotten your new gears yet? Oh and what kind of track bar are you using? keep up the good work!

I got my long arms for fairly cheap, $440 or something. I am running the re hd trackbar and bracket. I havent gotten gears yet, trying to figure out what Im doing pretty soon. I could either get some rock rails and maybe a bumper or gears. I just cant really afford gears and the install at the same time which sucks...
Thats sick you have been to Moab, I want to get out west so bad.

I have a rust issue like yours on the roof of my 00, except much worse. Could you get some more pics of your hurc'ed roof for me?
Oh, and pretty sweet jeep! Put a no-slip in the rear and you'll be really amazed... |

I have the NP242 and with the rear locker it was unaffected. The front locker is what makes it squirrley on the road.

I like what you've done to your XJ!!!
Gratz!! Question: Isn't the black roof a little bit too hot? I don't know if you live in a hot or cold place. I live in a place that's too sunny in summer and I think a black roof would fry me inside! What's your experience with that? tnx!

Thanks arielgs, I live in the south most of the year where it gets very hot during the day. The roof, from what I have noticed does not get any hotter than normal. I will either be stripping the herculiner and just painting it black or I will be getting it redone professionally. Either way its hot w/o a/c but no noticeable differences.
