I guess I did forget that... Well like my brother said, got bored one day and took the Jeep out for some light wheeling. Got hung up on my diffs in some ruts. The wheels dug out hole underneath themselves so the wheels could spin freely on their own. My guess is, I went to shift into 4lo and heard some nasty sounds, tried again and again with the grinding. Ended up getting a buddy to pull me out and I ended up grinding the shift selector gear for 4lo. $500 later and pulled my tcase for the first time, good as new. No pics of all that though.

Here are a few other things I did over the summer:
Took it to the Pa Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show at the York fairgrounds, had a blast on the course and got to see a ton of awesome rigs. Trimmed my center caps on my wheels. I wasnt a fan of the unnecessarily long caps. before: after: Trimmed out some of my Bushwackers because I have no bumpstops and right front tire caught the flare when flexing: And a few days ago I replaced the cutting board spacers in my steering with the poly spacers I had ordered from JCR: From now on the thread will grow very slowly as I have no money and no job right now. Once I get a job the mods will start coming in a little quicker. Stay tuned!

Thanks man, most of the work was done throughout high school. Now I only ever get any substantial parts for xmas. College has really drained any coin I had available to me.
Here is what I am planning in the future> http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=969483&highlight=upgraded+hp30

If you do it make sure you use the uv protectant stuff. I am going to redo mine because it has faded and the paint is starting to come through again.

I dont think you have to UV protect in gray or red it says on the site its only for black unless I red it wrong.

Awesome looking jeep! Reminds me of my old 97 XJ I had. Almost the same specs as you, 4.5 inch lift, 32's, sye, bushwackers etc. Hopefully my new 01 XJ will look similar to yours when I'm all done with it
. Question for ya, what gears do you have? 3.55 I'm assuming? If so, any problems with running the 33's and an automatic? My last one was a manual so I didnt have to worry about gearing as much |

I have 33's and 3/55's and it gets pretty bad mileage. Other than that its not too bad. The aw4 will down shift and rpms will go up while on hills but its not too bad. Towing anything it bogs down pretty good. I will soon be getting 35's and 4.56's so I should be fine then.

With the 5speed and 32's with 3.55's I got about 21 mpg average if I was nice on it.
