Well guys, I just picked up this beauty today, aka The Party Wagon. It's a '91 Grand Wagoneer, near mint condition. 360 v8, f/r 44s, np229, 123,xxx fully loaded and everything works great. This will now turn into my new dd and once its set up will also be my tow rig, not ideal but will get the job done the few times I tow up to Rausch Creek (hopefully more often now).
This now means the XJ will be my weekend warrior/trail rig and is ready to get torn down and rebuilt after we get a separate open air garage built for mine and my brothers jeep while he is away at college in Utah.
My plans for the XJ will most likely take place over the next year and a half as I am going back to school/moving out/working in the same time frame.
I know Im alway posting plans but I think I now am set up to get the ball rolling. The plans are to get my hp30 and XJ44 geared and locked, highsteer with rod ends, cut down RE trackbar with ota bracket, new joints in my RK long arms, get my ruff stuff stiffeners welded up, bumpers f/r, doorless mod, maybe a co2 setup, lots of repainting stuff and get the rear 1/4 and wheel wells fixed, cut out rocker replacement and full skids.
