So you are on 35's with completely stock axles? No gears, locker, aftermarket shafts or anything? Wow.

Completely stock for now. I have gears but Im looking to sell them and go with different axles, maybe a built hp30 and a xj 44. I dont have a heavy foot but there have been times I thought I broke something when gettin on it.
Heres my current dilemma: it poured the other day and as I hop in the jeep to go to work there are puddles of water in both front floor pans. I took out the carpet, going to clean it and dry it out but b/c its already out Im thinking about lining the interior with U Pol Raptor Liner. I would either line it and cut the carpet into pieces and put it back in or I would line it and put in some rubber floor mats and be done with it. Should I line it or just clean the carpet and throw it back in? The mods will be put on hole until I get some stuff fixed like my steering and track bar issues. A buddy (AevRubi06) just bought a welder, tube bender, notcher, band saw and a plasma cutter so we're done with buying parts. Time for some fab!

Hey dude great build you have going there.
I would just line it and go with floor mats. Thats the same set up I have and I like it a lot. Make sure to cut a few drain holes and put some TJ plugs in them. Does your RK 3 link make a crap load of noise? Mine sure does and I'm not sure if its the nature of the beast or if something is wrong. Keep up the good work! |

Mine made a helluva lot of noise when I first got it. I dont know if I have gotten used to it or what but I dont notice it now. Been thinking about changing out my RK joints for some better quality ones though.
I actually bought a 1 1/2" hole saw today to cut a few drain hole but I bought the wrong one. I will most likely be putting some holes in the floor tomorrow. Concept, what size holes did you cut and where did you get the tj plugs?

TJ holes are only about 1in. You can get the plugs from a dealer or junkyard I would think. I got mine from a friend.

I bought a xj 44 with a small tube truss, raised shock mounts and corrected spring plates for pinion angle today along with a stock 95 hp30. Plans include gears, truss for the 30, raised trackbar mount, new steering with possible tera knuckle and diff covers. I will start stockpiling parts for the build and probably make an axle thread once I get underway. Ill get some pictures soon.

Did this today, time for some 1/4 guards. Almost blew out the window and tail light but I lucked out. I almost flipped the jeep earlier in the day too. It was a fun day.

I like the JCR's. It would bother me having thor cut out on the side.

My buddy has the thor's (user: JeepFiendClub on here) and he loves em! They look real good, I like the thor cutout too. But those JCR with the taillights.....GET THOSE!!!!!!
