Nice XJ, I really like those smoked turn signals and side markers. They really blend in. I have been looking into them because I think the stock one's done with VHT nightshade are too dark. How do they show up at night, are they fairly bright?

Thanks, I had tinted tail lights on my previous XJ but I didnt completely black them out. All black is way too dark. The smoked lenses are very easy to see, at night you would hardly know the difference. There are tail lights on Ebay that match the turn signals but they want way too much money for them. I cant decide if I want to use VHT on them and not have them match or just leave them alone until I go with tail light boxes later on down the road.

Thanks again, I dont do much/any night wheeling but I see people black out their windows and wonder how they can back up at night. I wouldnt go darker than factory tint if I ever got around to it.

I think they made the jeep look completely different. I was just in the middle of going through your build thread when I got an email saying you commented on mine. I might end up doing that same budget boost you have. Either that or the Trail Master kit.

PICTURES!! I only have cell pics of it before we went back on our trails but here are some dirty ones. Thats how a jeep should be right? This is the first time this jeep has ever been wheeled too!

I thought the jeep was going to ride rougher and tha the tires would be stiff and loud but its almost no different than stock. The ride is just as smooth and the tires are only a little louder than the 30s. Are the bumpers supposed to be level? The rear bumper sits a little lower than the front but Im not sure thats not normal?

The 245s hardly touch the passenger side lca when at full lock so I pretty much have no rubbing. Didnt rub when flexing on the trails but I still have the sway bars connected.

Oh yea, I got my new factory fog switch installed. I had gotten one from a part out but it was burnt out and melted but I lucked out and found a brand new one on craigslist.
