Yea, here in florida we no longer have lift or bumper laws. Now its just headlight laws. Above 22" and below 52" from the ground. I got almost 900.00 in fines for my chevy I had.

Ita total height was 8'7" it had 18" of lift on 44s. Was about to move to 48s but sold it before I got them. It had nurf bars and wasnt hard to get into at all, im 5'11" if I moved it to.the 48s then I would have added another loop to the nurf bars.

Slow and steady. Waiting on parts Is the worst part. The $ side of it is fine its finding what I need if I cant make it or waiting on backordered parts. At this rate, I highly doubt it will be ready for next weekend. And I hate to half *** things but its looking like Ill be running completly stock axles and 2wd unless I can get a front drive shaft made with the quickness.

No I was going to regear, truss, sleeve, gusset, and lunch.box.lock it.but cant find an open 44a. CB, I havnt gotten one yet, my cj had one but I was in a jeep club where we.would have 12-15 jeeps in a line doing trail runs and it.came in.handy. My wj is being built so if I wanted to.go.out, ill do.just fine on my own. And if I.get screwed, I.have a.cell.phone.

Yea and if you havnt noticed, parts for the wj cost about 30% more than others. It all takes time and $, I got a jump on mine because I was able to build my cj cheap, traded for the truck, sold the truck and picked up my wj cheap. So I had the $ to invest into it right away.

But a trail ready, gnarly as **** wj is better than anything else. Talk about luxury anywhere. I scored my WJ for $1000. No problems at all, 02, strait 6 and i just put a 2'' lift on it. Im looking to get new tires though
