So tonight we got started on the lift, ill say were about 1/16 done. We got everything unboxed and cleaned up.

Got started, took the floor jack, lifted up on side, took the tire off, disconected the sway bar. Then realized I left the jack stands at home. So... **** it, who needs jack stand...

We grabed the forklift and picked up the front of the jeep. We crawled under and removed the crossmember. Went to.put the new one on... Biggest pain in.the ***!

Well I think the center should have came powder coated... So.ran to.the store and got some rattle can paint. Went to.put it on, doesnt fit. So.looking at it guessing I take the transfercase mount off... Puzzled I look.at the pic n see the center goes the.other way even tho.the way the brackets are formed you would think diffrently. So many times bolting and unbolting we finally got it on.

Cleaned it up a little then went ahead and melted it to the frame. Cleaned the shop and called it a night. More to come tomorrow.

We started on the lift around 9am and finished at 3am. We were so busy we didnt get to take pictures since there was two of us. We had a horrible time getting that damn ball joint a arm off so we just saw zawed it off.

Got everything on with some slight agrovation since I was missing a lot of hardware. The shocks had no nuts or bolts, there was no bolts for the back upper control arms or to mount to the pumpkin. Had some grade10 around the shop and used those. The new teraflex rear endlinks came with no top hardware as well. The bolts it did come with fit thru the new sway bar but are two narrow for the links so they rattle.

Finished it up and took it for a short ride, lots of noise, like one of the arms are loose. But I checked and everythings tightened down. Its going for the alignment on saturday. Had some down time and got started on the front tube bumper, made mounts and the main beam for everything. Left it wide since were still waiting on the bush wackers to be released. And cant build onto the front.untill the winch comes in.

Also called around and got quotes to get the vinyl logos cut and found a bunch of diffrent tires.

Waiting on.more parts. So was going to try to find out where all this clanking and clunking is comming from but it started to rain. I know the sway bar bolts are smaller than the endlinks so they rattle and what not, but this sound ALOT bigger like one of the hime joints are smacking around.

So, It stopped rainning, I went out and took off all endlinks, drove down the street and still clanking. I move the jks quick disco to the inside since I noticed they were rubbin on the tire at full turn. I cleaned everything up and attempted to tighten more down but nothing was.loose.
