So last night my phone wouldnt charge in the jeep. I figured I blew a fuse. So today I did a little investagation. While looking at fuses there was a wire tapped into the radio fuse.

Thinking in my head I got the jeep from an old guy so I doubt there was an audio system in it. I began to tare things apart.

Well tracing wires all over the jeep I found a cable like wire. A phone jack, and then traced those and under the back seat, I pulled the carpet up. I found like a computer brain of some sort.

I found a brand and model number. I used our best friend google and turns out its a cell phone amplifier. I called a company that has them. Theyre all over seas. Its military grade.

Now Im wondering what this guy did for a living... Or hobby. just the amplifier goes for 300 used. with all the wires and antenna I found in the spare tire wheel well. He said he could probably find a buyer for around 400.

After all that. I decided to finally wire up the light bar. Gawd this was a pain in the butt. I pulled apart tje interior. A & B panel. Head liner. Big mess of things. Took down the light bar. Looks diffrent.

Then I marked up the area and drilled a 1/8th pilot hole. Continued up to 5/8s. Took a chissle and cleaned the area up of.all the stock cocking or whatever it was. Then fed the wires thru.

Attachment 510033

Attachment 510031

Next I had to knotch.out.the ribs in the headliner fiberglass. Then put.everything back togeather. Turnes out nice. Then I took industrial cocking and filled in the entire rain channel to seal it all up.

That's a really nice jeep you got there. Just curious tho if you made that switch pod, or if you bought it from somewhere. I have always wanted to do an install similar to what yours is like.

Hit up Kolak for a price. By far the cheapest. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/...3/index52.html

Your wj looks great. What do you think is the lowest lift that can be used with 35" and bushwackers for a street car ?

With extended bumpstops, stock bumper and no winch, you could.do.4" but you.would.prob still.rub.

I have 6" but with all the added.weight im gona.put 1.5" spacers.to lift it back up.
