L....o....freakin....l....

It definitely still leaks from the back of the motor. Shoulda done the rear main seal while I was in there. Goddamit.

Oh well. I guess now I should focus on fixing the front oil leaks and deal with that rms later.

Oh well. Drives real nice still...just drippy.

Atleast oil is the only leak.

If it's any condolence, I did the same thing when I dropped the oil pan on mine. I had decided I was gonna replace "some" of my leaking gaskets, and forgot the rms... Sooner or later, I'll fix that.

Or pull the motor and fix it all. (yeah, right)

K, after letting it sit in the parking lot for like 2 hours, i came out and there was only 1 wet spot under the truck. It was dripping from the back of the oil pan, as mentioned....but there were no drips elsewhere.

I can live with that.

I bought a new gun, and have been pumping money into the Waggy constantly. My bank account shows sever damage, and i got in kinda deep....I seriousy have enacted a full stop on spending for the next few weeks to build some cash back up.

The brake booster is gonna have to wait.

Well I just sat here and read your entire thread. Nice Jeep! I wish we had nice old trucks like yours around here. Everything up here in New England gets eaten away by road salt.
I do have one question though?

I've bought 3 since March! I like shooting though so it's ok but I need to get back on the jeep.

I was looking into it, good news is that my brake lines all mount to the frame, and my gas tank mounts to the body, so the only things that will need adjustment are the shifter linkage and the radiator. Easy peasy. Also all said and done it should only cost like 120 bucks.

Bad news is....half the body bolts are loose, like i can turn them with my hands, but the nuts are not loose, and there is no way to get a wrench on the top of the bolt, because they are inside the body. Least, I havent found a way yet.

Yikes! When I had my 85 grand waggy I put a 3" body lift on it. I had that same problem with about 3 of the body bolts I had to cut the floor above the bolts and tack weld the nuts then put a patch over the holes.

However I HATED the body lift on that jeep. it was all nice and quiet then after the body lift I had squeaks and pops and rattles. Every once in a while when I got it into twisty stuff the roof would bang real loud like it was being flexed or something.
