yeah but im gonna re-run the outlet from the stock box. i unfortunately had to use a 1 1/2 inch vacuum tube becuase i couldnt make the bend with the 3 inch blue tube... but im gonna run a 2inch ABS pipe straight from the box to the snorkle! you think the filter is more waterproof in that box now?

Nice little build you got going my first car was a 94 cherokee 4 door, then i got a 91 cherokee pioneer when i was stationed in italy now i got a 09 jeep wrangler getting built up i always get the itch to get another cherokee though. 33's on a xj look really good though and 4.5 in lift is perfect height with a little bit of modification to the wheel wells.

VERSION 3.0
didnt have enough airflow in the 1.5 inch vacuum tube, leaks because weak tube melted, filter fell off inside. so i screwed the filter onto the pipe inside the box, put insulation tape around it, put insulation tape around the new ABS pipe i put going to the outside, trying to make it really cold in there! tested it on the highway, and starting in 1st gear at a stop sign or stoplight, i easily burned out (not trying to) and could really tell i had a lot of clean power. this ones a keeper! only problem... when i change the filter... might have to make a whole new snorkle
FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT CARE...
the way i sealed the pipe coming from outside going into the box is i got a male end and female end threaded ABS pipe and cut a gasket, slipped it over the male end, put the male end through the hole and screwed it real tight onto the female end, so it is a real good seal.
