You should linex the frame and under the tub to perminately stop any and all corosion, now would be easyer than later.

The frame was sandblasted, and then sprayed with 2 coats of epoxy primer, plus I coated the insides of the frame rails with Eastwood Internal Frame Coating, so this frame is good to go for another 30 years, at least. I'm going to epoxy prime and Monsta-Liner both sides of the tub floor, so that will be protected as well.

The stroker engine was dyno'd yesterday, and I'm happy to report that it survived with no parts flying through the oil pan. She made 367 hp and 407 ft. lbs. of torque. I'd say there will be a seat of the pants difference from the 2.5L 4 cylinder its replacing.

Sounds like a strong running 318. Did you use the 318 heads and what cam?

I used stock magnum truck heads. The only things done to them was bowl port them, correct any crappy factory machining,and swap in the appropriate valvesprings.
Here are the specs of the cam I used. Due to the higher 1.6 rocker ratio of the factory magnum heads, the actual valve lift on my engine is .517 for the intake and exhaust.

hell ya you sound like me a mopar muscle guy, i had a 1970 dodge dart 340 car, ran the best of a 11.98. but all my friends are jeep guys so i got into it. nice build man im watching this for sure!!!!

Do you happen to know the difference in width of the D44 waggy front and the Standard D30 front? The only answers I have found so far is...... "Eh, should be pretty close". I can get the D44 out of a wagoneer if i want it.

I didn't measure the D30 that was in there originally, but I did measure my D44 front, and it is 60.5" from wms to wms.

Hey, thanks! I pulled the tape and measured mounting surface to mounting surface and it is exactly 60.5" on my standard D30.

So hopefully by confirming this, people will be able to finally find this in the search bar and won't have to ask.
