Will that motor run regular or premium pump gas?

It will easily run on 87 regular. As a matter of fact, we dyno'd it on 87.

I sand blasted the power steering brackets and pulley, purchased a remanned PS pump, rattle canned some paint, and bolted it to the engine. I went to the Garlits Mopar show and swap yesterday, and bought alternator brackets. A new Denso 120 amp alternator is in route.
I still need to decide what color to paint the valve covers.
I painted and installed the steering box.

I was wondering what motor mounts you used on the motor side? Great build, I like the shock mount stiffeners!

I used engine mounts from a 1983 Chrysler Cordoba with a 318, but just about any 1975 and up Plymouth or Dodge 318 car mounts should be the same.

I painted the valve covers with Dupli-Color ceramic engine paint, in a color called Cast Coat Aluminum.

Here is a pic showing the now shortened cast trans mount with the welded plate and the factory 1985 Dodge Ramcharger transmission isolators. I cut down the cast trans mount in order to get the driveline height and angle I wanted, and to make it short enough so I had room for the isolators.
The white PVC pipe is in place to simulate the front driveshaft. I'm going to fabricate a set of headers, so I need to know where the d-shaft is going to be, so I can make sure the pipes will not interfere with it during the range of suspension travel.

The little stuff is important, too. Take for instance, power steering hoses. I held on to the original hoses from the 2.5L, in hopes that I might be able to re-use them. Once the steering box and pump were installed for the last time, it quickly became obvious that they weren't even close to being able to work, so I hacked up the high pressure hose to the point where it connected A to B, and looked and fit decent. I then took my hose mock-up over to Amazon Hose, where they made a hose to the same dimensions, bends and angles. It fits perfect. The low pressure return hose was easier, I just kept cutting until it fit nice.

I liked the color on the valve covers so much, I decided to paint the intake manifold as well.
